Join Us for a Hands-on Workshop Focusing on
Power Web Tools for Your Classroom

Discover how Web Power Tools can impact your classroom and students.
Learn to use free online tools and media to bring your students' classroom experience into the 21st century. Technology educators Shelley Owen and Timothy McKean have been using online technologies to enrich their programs from elementary to University levels.

Explore tools such as educational online games, rich video and audio content, podcasts, blogs, wikis, social bookmarking, and many more.

Participants will meet together for an introductory discussion of Web 2.0 tools then break off into two sessions based on ability and comfort levels. Beginners and advanced users welcome.

When?

Who Should Attend?
Teachers and administrators who would love to make their classroom(s) an active learning environment–a place that is fun, yet addresses standards.

What to Bring?
This will be held in a tech lab with air conditioning so you might also want to bring a light wrap as it can get cold.

Cost?
Just $5 for CUE members, $20 for guests. For non-members, this fee may be applied to the cost of a CUE membership if the application is made during the workshop. All who wish to participate will reserve their seat the the $20 fee; for CUE members, this fee will be refunded at check-in. Workshops are limited to 30 participants, so reserve your seat now. Checks must be received at least 5 days prior to the event to secure your spot.
Checks must be received by October 13 to secure your spot.

Ready to Register for the Power Web Tools?
You can register online for the Coffee Break by going to the Coffee Breaks Registration page. This is particularly important as there might be a need to contact you after school hours regarding the workshop. Once you have submitted your registration, we will contact you within 72 hours to let you know your registration has been received.

After completing your registration online, be sure to mail your check for $15 made payable to SGVCUE. Look below or on sidebar for the mailing address.
